XIPTEL is an Internet Protocol (IP) Business Services provider and systems integrator, featuring Voice over IP (VoIP) communications for the small and medium business markets, education, and city/municipal markets. XIPTEL was acquired by XIPCOM Inc. in June 2008 and is a registered service name and dba of XIPCOM, Inc.

XIPTEL Communications is dedicated to providing hosted and premise-based VOIP telephone systems and PBX services to the commercial market, and includes a number of related products and services. In 2009 XIPTEL transitioned from a closed, proprietary VOIP technology platform to an open source environment that expands features and functionality, and enhanced service quality and reliability. XIPTEL’s comprehensive business operations and support infrastructure has been developed internally beginning in 2004, and has been serving customers ever since. XIPTEL’s Customer Control Panel (XCCP) is designed to be scalable and fully automated, to handle tasks including subscriber management, provisioning, support ticketing, call detail record mediation, archiving, and billing.
